Thank you for checking out my site! As you can probably tell it’s a work in progress! I will continue to add content as I move forward in my journey as a veterinary epidemiologist!
I have had the great honor of presenting my work at various international conferences with my most recent opportunity at the International Association for Paratuberculosis colloquium. I have also been published in the textbook Paratuberculosis: Organism, Disease, Control 2nd edition!
Thanks to all of those who have supported me along the way!
Please check out my presentation from the 2021 ADSA conference. Also if you haven’t seen it please check out my poster that was presented at the AABP here. Click here for the poster that was presented at ICP in Dublin. It is a goal of mine to write a bit about my research so far and what I think are some of the key take away points! Check it out here.
In August of 2021 I joined the Canadian Food Inspection Agency where my role as a Veterinary Science Specialist serves to ensuring the health and welfare of animals within the Canadian livestock sector. My current portfolio involves the surveillance of prion diseases. I am also responsible for the evaluation and analysis of diagnostic tests that are used within our surveillance systems.
I successfully defended my thesis November 2022 with the support of many family, friends and colleagues. All four chapters of my thesis are now published, with my final chapter being published in March 2024.
